Prior to joining Centennial Wealth in 2013, Larry owned his own accounting firm for over 25 years. A believer that minimizing income taxes and understanding tax ramifications are vital parts of any strategy, Larry added financial planning to his practice in 1999, but he has since sold the firm to work for Centennial Wealth full time.
Larry graduated in 1984 from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting. He is an Enrolled Agent (EA), Accredited Business Accountant (ABA) and Investment Adviser Representative (IAR). Larry has also been president of the Independent Accountants Association of Michigan three times.
Larry and his wife, Chris, are Traverse City natives who have been married for over 30 years. They have three sons, Brett, Ben and Garry, and three grandchildren, Saige, Ezra and Lilia. In his spare time, Larry enjoys running, biking, hiking and snowshoeing.
