Michael D. Reese
President/Certified Financial Planner®
Michael Reese is a 20+ year veteran of the financial industry and has trained over a thousand financial advisors across the country in post-retirement financial strategies. Over the years, he has earned a number of credentials and designations, including Certified Financial Planner® (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChfC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Tax Specialist (CTS). Michael spent several years hosting his own financial planning radio program and now hosts the acclaimed show, “Retiring Well.”
Michael is the author of the book, “The Big Retirement Lie: Why Traditional Retirement Planning Benefits the IRS More Than You.” Readers of his book have given it enthusiastic reviews. He is excited to be releasing a new series of financial books in the near future.
There are many financial advisors throughout the country, on the radio and on television who all seem to be giving the same old traditional advice that has led to significant problems for today’s retirees. Michael, on the other hand, shares a new perspective of planning and has received the undivided attention of retirees as well as respected financial advisors from coast to coast. He has become one of America’s recognized retirement professionals.

He believes it is most important for his clients to protect the assets they have worked so hard to save, and to set up a reliable income structure for them during their retirement years in which they don’t have to worry about the day-to-day performance of the stock market. The biggest compliment Jon receives is when his clients refer their family and friends, because it shows that the work he’s doing is benefiting them and they’d like to share it with their loved ones.
